FoxChat is random 1v1 video chat at foxchat.cam. This policy explains what we collect, what we deliberately don't, and the control you have over both. The short version: we run on the least data that keeps the service working, we never sell your data, and we don't record your calls.
We collect the minimum needed to run a live video chat service:
Your live video and voice chats are peer conversations, not content we store: FoxChat does not record your calls. Text chats are transmitted to deliver the conversation and are not published anywhere.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers. There are no third-party ad networks profiling you on FoxChat.
We use cookies and local storage for the basics: keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, and understanding aggregate traffic so we can improve the service. You can block cookies in your browser; matching still works as a guest, though sign-in features won't.
Only the processors the service can't run without: hosting and infrastructure providers, and the payment processor when you buy coins. Each is bound by contract to handle data only for the service they provide us. We don't sell, rent or trade personal data, and there are no advertising networks in the chain to share it with.
Account data lives as long as your account does. Logs rotate on a short retention window. Coin transaction records are kept as long as payment and tax rules require. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the associated personal data, except what the law requires us to retain.
Use FoxChat as a guest and almost nothing personal is attached to you at all. Registered users can edit or delete their profile, and can ask us for a copy or deletion of their data by writing to [email protected]. Camera and microphone permissions are granted per browser and can be revoked there at any time.
FoxChat is strictly for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; accounts found to belong to minors are removed. If you believe a minor is using the service, report it to [email protected] immediately.
Write to [email protected] — a human reads every message.
